| Anyone with reason to believe that art belonging to them
or to a relative was lost, looted, or stolen between January 1, 1933 and May 9, 1945 may
submit an art claim with the Holocaust Claims Processing Office. Information on the claim
form will be used as a starting point for archival research. Moreover, it will be compared
with provenance data, insurance company and museum records, Nazi confiscation lists,
auction catalogues, and other resources in an effort to locate the missing work of art and
aid in its recovery. To initiate an art claim with the Holocaust Claims Processing Office, please download our art claim form in pdf format. Pdf forms can be viewed and printed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If pdf files are not accessible to you, you can use the html version of the art claim form or contact us and a claim form will be mailed to you. |
